This anointing perfume was inspired by the partial solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, when the moon obscured the sun by 27% from my location. Clouds drifting over the sun further enhanced the veiling effect, creating a softer and more gentle transformative energy. The combined energies of the eclipse, the planetary alignment of Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Mars, as well as the rare appearance of the 12P/Pons-Brooks comet during Mercury Retrograde, also inspired this anointing oil.
